Principal Software Engineer-Python/Django at The Bowdoin Group
Reporting to the Technology Director, you’ll work closely with project managers, subject matter experts, instructional technologists, UI and graphics designers, and quality assurance, network, and systems engineers to create a next-generation product. You will help to clarify scope and specifications, provide and evaluate alternative options, and set the technical direction and application architecture for multiple work streams. As a hands-on developer, you’ll be responsible for analysis, design, implementation, and deployment of learning solutions that leverage robust web-based application back-ends to integrate with a rich client-side experience. You will partner with team members to leverage progressive technologies, create and improve team standards and processes, and existing protocols to arrive at a rich learning environment and a world-class product.
