ConsejoSano is at a key point in our technical evolution. We're looking to transition from using a contracted, remote team to bringing full ownership of our tech stack to an in-house engineering team. We're looking for someone to lead that team and manage the development and rollout of our B2B service for large clients (corporations, hospitals, and insurers) that are buying group memberships for their covered populations. Our core telemedicine service is already fully established, and we are beginning to build out the supplemental features that will create an exceptional overall experience for group account managers and end-users. The CTO will oversee all elements of technical development, with direct ownership of system architecture and oversight and participation on the team responsible for front-end, back-end, and mobile development.
We're looking for someone who has a vision for the smartest way to build a service that we expect to be offering to millions of people within 2 years. We need someone who has the hard skills and management IQ to lead and participate in all elements of technical development, and who can articulate that strategy and join the executive team as a partner in setting our overall priorities and direction.
The first major task for our CTO will be to assess this technical infrastructure and determine whether it's sufficiently robust to support our ambitions. You will be given broad latitude to make decisions about what can be preserved and what should be rebuilt, as well as which technologies to use for such projects. You'll be tasked with implementing new testing and continuous integration systems to manage our development workflow, and you'll be given ownership of engineering hiring as we expand our team in the months to come. For these reasons, we're looking for someone with several years of front-end and back-end experience who's ready to make architecture and growth decisions that will support our mission for years to come.
