Job Description: Apartments 24-7 is a 13-year-old successful web development company, looking for an experienced Developer to join our team of Designers, Programmers and Marketers who work together in a agile, creative environment. Whether you're completely self-taught or have a degree in Computer Science, we're only concerned that you have the skills needed to perform the job. Please do NOT contact us if you are an on-shore or off-shore job shop. We are looking to hire talented individuals to join our team only. Requirements:
- Experience with Python, HTML and Javascript
- Experience working with a SQL-based database
- Experience working with Linux or UNIX operating systems
- Must be able to write solid, documented code
- Must be comfortable on the command-line
- Must be a team player, possess a good attitude and be self-disciplined
- A passion for open source software!
- Experience with a NoSQL database
- Experience using a versioning system (Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc)
- Knowledge of what “Scrum” is and how it works.
- Answer questions about general software development procedures.
- Answer questions related to database programming.
- Answer questions related to Linux/UNIX operating systems.
