The video interview platform Shortlister.com is looking for a user-minded developer to build on our revolutionary software. Our platform is the most innovative product on the market and we have exciting development roadmap set out ahead of us - now we need you to drive us down it.
Our application has been built API first using Django and PostgreSQL for the back end and Bootstrap and Backbone for the front. It’s hosted at Heroku, using Amazon S3 and Cloudfront, MailChimp’s Mandrill as well as New Relic and Sentry. With all that in mind you’ll need to be confident with both Django and Javascript, and have a broad understanding of PaaS hosting solutions. Our clients rely on our software to handle a critical point of the recruitment process so you will also have excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. You’ll be working directly with the product team, so an ability to capture requirements and explain your thinking in clear non-technical language is also a must.
Our HQ is situated in the idyllic and historic city of York where you would be based for the most part of the week.
You will be joining a close knit and hungry team who have already secured the business of Britain's Top Employer, a Virgin Fast Track 100 company and a host of specialist recruitment agencies.
We’re changing things: come change things with us.
We don’t expect years of experience, but we’d love to see some commits on Github (or Bitbucket, if that’s your thing) and some great questions and answers on StackOverflow.
