Previously known as Philosophie Inc., we are now known as the Accelerate Team at InfoBeans. We believe that different perspectives lead to better ideas, and better ideas lead to better products. We are proud to have received Inc.'s Best Workplaces award, the Healthy Mothers' Workplace award, and twice recognized in Inc.'s 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies.

We are makers and our culture is exceptionally rare and treasured. We are a team of designers, engineers, and product strategists who care deeply about creating meaningful things. After 12 years and more than 250 projects launched, we know how to get the job done.

As a digital innovation firm with a strong presence on both coasts of the US, we help organizations and entrepreneurs validate and develop their promising ideas through agile design, rapid prototyping, and software craftsmanship. Whether it is to reduce costs, explore emerging markets, or improve the customer experience, we apply a startup mentality and toolset to deliver meaningful progress faster than our clients think is possible.

We have recently become part of an engineering services outfit. InfoBeans, founded in 2000 and 1600+ strong, is a publicly listed Digital Transformation and Product Engineering outfit. Together, we design, build, and sustain enterprise-grade software to fulfill our clients’ most ambitious business aspirations or resolve their most complex business problems using cutting-edge technology. We strive to deliver value accretive services to our clients over a long period of time as an extension of their own team. We intently focus on the philosophy that our workplace is our team’s second home across our offices in the USA, Europe, and Asia, and work hard every day to grow a work culture that fosters collaboration and excellence. InfoBeans recognizes environmental protection as one of our guiding principles and a key component of sound business performance. Creating WOW! is not just a tagline for us, it’s our religion!

This is an exciting time for InfoBeans, and we are looking to work with experienced engineers in the following areas to build world-class products and experiences:

Python, Django, Azure, SQL

Familiarity with technologies from each category below:

Backend: Rails, Node.js, Django, Remix, Postgres

Frontend: React, Vue, StimulusJS

Mobile: React Native, Flutter, Swift UI, Android, Ionic

Platforms: AWS, Azure, Heroku, Netlify, Docker, Github actions

Work with the team to take features from ideation all the way to delivery - architecting, developing, testing, and shipping features Collaborate closely with the client on a daily basis to maintain alignment between their product vision and the day-to-day engineering work Bring an engineering perspective to different levels of project fidelity - i.e. how do our engineering strategy and roadmap fit into the design process, the business process, the project/client timeline, etc Break down UX and product ideas into engineering tasks

9+ years of experience working across a diverse range of libraries, frameworks, etc. across both the backend and frontend Experience leading projects from technical, mentorship and consultant perspectives A high comfort-level in an agile consulting environment - i.e., given an endless stream of work items and a finite timeline, effectively prioritize work to be done and organize work in the backlog in a sustainable way The ability to both move fast but work within a slow moving enterprise Experience with integrating Django with Active Directory Experience with Oracle a big plus, but not a must have Belief in the idea of "think by making" - the fastest way to get to an answer, whether that's understanding how a new library works or understanding how a user will experience a client's product, is to build and ship something. You're a nerd - you love tinkering with new software, hardware, work in open source, are involved in the engineering community, etc. Motivation to engage in and willingness to promote and encourage sustainable practices within your respective teams through communication and awareness on sustainability efforts Eagerness to follow the InfoBeans Green Office Policies and Procedures, to seek ways to reduce waste, water, and energy usage within your office, and to utilize technology to reduce paper usage And maybe most importantly, you are a people person at heart - at the end of the day, what we all want is to build cool stuff and have fun doing it!

At InfoBeans, we love making things. We are a diverse team of designers, engineers, and product strategists. With different backgrounds and skill sets, we come together to make useful technology. Our clients (Fortune 500 to startups) come to us with early-stage product ideas, and we prototype those ideas to life. Our project teams make decisions collaboratively and lead clients to successful outcomes. We’ve been around for over a decade, but we still apply a startup mentality to everything we do.

Our people describe our culture as caring, collaborative, experimental, and ethical. We've designed our company to be responsive to team members: good ideas are heard and easy to execute. We champion people of different backgrounds and perspectives. We do not discriminate; we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive work environment.
