Senior Django Developer at Greater Kansas City Community Foundation

The Senior Django Developer will work directly with the Technical Project Manager in the development and maintenance of both new and existing web-based applications constructed using the Django framework. The position will (a) work with existing developers to become familiar with the existing applications, (b) work with users in the development, testing and support of new/enhanced features and (c) work with other staff to help integrate Django applications with internal back-end systems. This person must be able to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines with a high degree of urgency, and operate independently and collaboratively in a manner consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. **Essential Functions:** Development and testing of REST APIs in Python/Django.Familiarity with React and modern Javascript with ability to collaborate with front-end developers.
