Who we are

DjangoJobs.net is a job board for teams and professionals working with Django. For privacy questions or requests, contact support.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, a password hash, account role, and session information. We never store your plain-text password. If you use Google or GitHub Sign-In, the provider gives us the basic profile information needed to create your account, such as your email address and provider account identifier.

When you use the site, we may receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and security events. Job listing data may be collected from public employer career pages and other public sources; we use it to display job title, company, location, description, tags, and application links.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, show relevant Django jobs, save applications or preferences, operate and improve the service, detect abuse, respond to support requests, and send account or password-reset emails. We do not sell personal information or use account data for targeted advertising.

Service providers

DjangoJobs.net is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and D1. We use Google and GitHub for optional authentication, Google Analytics for site analytics, and Resend for transactional email. These providers process information under their own privacy and security practices.

Job listings and external sites

DjangoJobs.net is not the employer and does not make hiring decisions. Application links may take you to an employer or applicant-tracking website. Once you leave DjangoJobs.net, that website controls its own data processing under its own privacy policy. Check the destination before submitting an application.

Cookies and security

We measure referrals from AI services using aggregate daily counters for visits and interactions. We store the service name, not the full referring URL or your search prompt. A service label and daily visit marker may be held in this browser tab’s session storage for attribution; these counters do not identify individual people. The visibility counters do not store email addresses, account IDs or IP addresses.

We use an essential, secure session cookie to keep you signed in. We apply reasonable technical safeguards, including hashed passwords, expiring sessions, HTTPS, and rate-limited authentication flows; no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to support the website. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted and consented to. We do not send your account email, password or saved application records to AdSense. Where required, Google's consent message lets you manage your advertising choices. You can also manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center. Learn how Google uses information from websites that use its services in Google's partner-site privacy information.

Retention and your choices

We keep account and application records while needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. You may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal data held in our own systems by emailing support. We may need to verify your request, and some records may be retained where legally required.

Children

DjangoJobs.net is intended for adults seeking employment and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above indicates when the latest version was published.
