Django / Python Developer at backCODE

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Django development for both client and internal projects
• UX knowledge understanding end user
• Meeting deadlines and proper goal setting
• Input into scheduling and resource needs for the project
• Attend estimating & bidding meetings as needed
• Work both as a team member and leader, depending on the project

Qualifications and skills:

• 2-4 years previous Django development experience
• Python expertise
• Experience with Postgres and No-SQL DBs
• Experience with writing deployment automation scripting
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming & appropriate Design Patterns
• Scrum and Waterfall workflow knowledge
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines
• Resourceful problem solver
• Positive attitude and open, respectful communication
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
• An eagerness to learn and overcome challenges
• Must be discreet at backCODE works on high profile entertainment, education and defense projects

Bonus:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience working in a non-disclosure environment
• Experience in leadership role, mentoring junior developers and leading teams
