The Capital Markets agile team focuses on the infrastructural and strategic components of our software landscape. The systems developed by the team play an essential role in investment activities of APG’s capital markets domain.

As members of the team we build and maintain an outstanding suite of reliable, high performing systems and applications. Your main responsibility is developing and supporting the quantitative investment support systems. These are custom built systems that implement quantitative models on large data sets. The quantitative models are used by the researchers and portfolio managers to manage their assets and improve their returns.

In the team you will engineer the ETL-streams for incoming data using MarkitEDM. Your main tasks will be analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and implementing them. You will also support the day-to-day business by investigating issues or information requests that come from the business users. Additionally, as a senior developer you are responsible for shaping the long-term roadmap and coaching other members in the development team.

This is what you offer

For this role the team is looking for a person that has both technical and soft skills. To be more precise you have:

A natural drive to keep up with new developments in programming languages, and have a good understanding of IT infrastructures. Knowledge of C#.NET, Matlab, R or Python. Affinity with, or like to work in, an environment based on the Agile and DevOps methodology. Experience with DevOps pipeline tooling, preferably XebiaLabs XL-suite. This is where you'll work

We offer you a competitive maximum salary of €7.220 based on a 40 hours working week and attractive terms of employment with a focus on flexibility.

A guaranteed year-end bonus of 8.33%. Ample attention to your vitality and personal development. Hybrid working: at home and in one of our superb offices. And of course a well organized pension. For pension provider APG, pensions are about people, life and how we live together.
