Role Overview

The Atheon DevOps team is looking to add a new junior developer to our team. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn with some experience in web development and/or interest in Python/Django.

The junior developer will be someone who will initially work on maintaining our existing codebase which uses Python, Django, Javascript, Celery and other technologies. The role will allow the candidate to grow technically and gain more hands-on experience with our other Django based projects under the guidance of the team’s software engineers.

Ideal Candidate

Must have: - An IT related degree - Some basic Django experience - Some experience with project documentation - Right to work in the UK -

Would be: - Happy to work in a small team - Happy to participate in code refactors

Could also have : - A good understanding in HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Web development - An understanding of Version Control Systems (Git preferably) - An interest or some experience with Amazon Web services
