Our Mobile Engineers work closely with our product managers, designers and executive team to steer products from conception to launch and help define and lead the future of mobile-social gaming. You will be entrenched in the full life cycle of new products including ideation, design, development and release.

Technology Stack: Java, Android, Objective-C, ActionScript 3, Adobe AIR, Google Cloud Platform, Google App Engine, Python, NoSQL

Role

• Work within a small collaborative team of software engineers, designers and product managers in an agile environment to understand requirements, estimate level of effort, and plan out development tasks
• Architect backend, high-concurrency, multithreaded, server-side systems
• Create the core infrastructure that allows our mobile applications to perform and scale
• Develop efficient, reusable, reliable, and scalable software
• Optimize existing stack and architecture

Skills / Experience

• Must have experience with Python (AppEngine, HTML and JavaScript a plus)
• Experience with Python webservers, in particular with libraries like Django, Jinja2, webapp2 a plus
• Broad architecture and development skills
• Experience with NoSql databases (e.g. BigTable / AppEngine Datastore, MongoDB, Cassandra, Hbase, Couchbase, Riak)
• Understanding of agile software development processes
• Analytical and adept at problem solving with strong attention to detail
• Experience building high-traffic systems
• Strong interest in MV* architectures
